■Abstracts
Because of coping with social globalization, the higher education institution of Asian countries is looking for a way to internationalization.  In such situation, a graduate student who seek advanced professionals in the future, are required to present and publish research results in English.  Therefore, some excellent graduate school candidates in Asian countries do not enter the graduate school of the own country and try to enter the European and American graduate school in which they could learn in English.  Against such situation, many graduate schools of Asian countries came to push forward the establishment of the class by English and instruction by English.

In this seminar, we will compare with the situation of graduate course education by using the date of questionnaire survey of graduate students in Japan, Korea and Taiwan.  By it, we clarify cross-national differences such as the motivation to enter the graduate school, the relationship with their supervisor, the situation of learning, and research activities, the career plan after the graduation.

Through these activitis, we aim at gathering theoretical and practical information to improve doctoral course education in Asia.
