■Purpose of the Joint Seminar
This joint seminar will enable JAISE (Japan Association for International Student Education) and KAIE (Korean Association of International Educators) members to meet with each other and share learning points regarding internationalization, international education, and international collaboration in the globalization of higher education. Faculty and staff of higher education institutions in Japan and Korea often face similar issues and challenges, since the contexts and circumstances of higher education in the two countries overlap substantially. Therefore, this opportunity for both JAISE and KAIE members to share their experiences, exchange ideas, and discuss solutions is of great significance, allowing each participant to build a face-to-face network of professionals.
