■Abstract
The speakers of this seminar, Dr. Sakurai (Hiroshima) and Dr. Dangeni (Newcastle, UK), are engaged in offering pedagogical skills training for graduate teaching assistants (GTAs) at their respective institutions. Despite their limited scholarly research experience specifically focusing on GTAs, they are responsible for providing opportunities to develop pedagogical skills among graduate students, particularly doctoral students, as part of their current roles. This seminar introduces the practices they have recently begun to engage in, aiming to create a mutual learning opportunity and serve as a catalyst for future research activities and communication, both domestically and internationally. (This seminar is part of the TA seminar and FD activities of Hiroshima University’s Center for Academic Practice and Resources.)
