EMI is not merely a language policy; it serves as a strategic tool for enhancing institutional competitiveness through the expansion of international research networks and the recruitment of talented faculty and students. At the same time, for EMI to function effectively, it is essential that institutions develop and align their internal faculty evaluation systems accordingly.
