Approximately 370 participants joined online and in-person from across Japan and abroad.<\/p>\n<p>This year&#8217;s forum focused on the UK&#8217;s higher education quality assurance system, which has been undergoing a major change in recent years that could be described as a \u201ctectonic shift\u201d. Ms. Vicki Stott, Chief Executive of the UK&#8217;s Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA), explained the background and implications of the changes in the UK&#8217;s higher education quality assurance system, as well as the new services QAA is launching and their aims.
