We analyzed relevant institutional strategy documents, interviews with program designers, students’ reflective notes, as well as the authors’ autoethnographic journals. The findings show that the local and institutional context (the conceived space) influenced the SDGs curriculum design, the topics focused in the course, and the students’ interest in particular issues relevant to themselves. The virtual and physical learning spaces and the program design (perceived space) shaped students’ interaction and learning outcomes. Through lived experiences, the instructors and the students negotiated and challenged the program design shifting the perceived spaces. Our study contributes to further understanding of localization of SDGs in the context of internationalisation of higher education from cross-disciplinary perspectives of space.

■Note
・Participation fee is free.
・Registration is open until noon on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 (JST).
・Internet access and a camera/microphone device required to participate online.
・Use your full name as your personal meeting ID when you enter the meeting room.
