\"\"<\/a>Warm greetings from Kansai University Institute for Innovative Global Education(IIGE).

We are pleased to announce that we are now accepting applications for individual membership to the JPN-COIL Association.

The Association was established in 2018 under the following goals:
\u2460To exchange information on educational practices through COIL and other means
\u2461To encourage various exchange and training projects through COIL

Currently, JPN-COIL Association activities are funded by a government grant
provided by MEXT as part of the “2018 Support for Educational Reform strategy,
the Inter-University Exchange Project,” which aims to build and operate an
interactive exchange program that utilizes the Next Generation Collaborative
Online International Learning (COIL) method to mutually improve education
techniques and diversify businesses by contributing to the career development
of individuals who will become a bridge to the world. Therefore, there is
currently no membership fee. However, after financial support for the project
ends (April 2023 onwards), a membership fee may be charged to cover the cost
of the Association’s activities.

In addition to this open call for individual membership applications, we are
also still accepting applications for regular, supporting, and international
chapter membership!

If you are interested in joining the JPN-COIL Association, please visit the
JPN-COIL Association website linked below and fill out the membership\/withdrawal
application form. The deadline for applications is the 20th of each month.

You will be notified at the beginning of the following month as to the status
of your application.

As of June 9, 2021, we have 37 regular members, 7 supporting members, 9
individual members, and 5 international chapter members. Please see here(https:\/\/www.kansai-u.ac.jp\/Kokusai\/IIGE\/JPN-COIL\/#memberlist<\/a>) for more details.

\u3010General Assembly Participation\u3011
Currently held online annually\/biannually.
We make resolutions regarding the operation of this Association, share COIL reports from each regular member university, and exchange opinions.
Only regular members have voting rights, while other members are allowed to observe the meetings.

\u3010Member-Only Events\/Program Participation\u3011
Association members will be given priority to receive information on various seminars, workshops, and online international education programs for students, aimed at educators who currently or are planning to implement COIL. Some seminars and workshops are offered only to Association member institutions.
