The reform calls into question its architecture, which is more than a century old, and meets a strong opposition. For more details, please refer to the summary in French below.<\/p>\n<p><em>(R\u00e9sum\u00e9)<br \/><\/em><em>Dans tous les pays, les examens de la fin des \u00e9tudes secondaires marquent un passage entre l\u2019adolescence et l\u2019\u00e2ge adulte. En France, le baccalaur\u00e9at remplit ce r\u00f4le depuis plus de deux si\u00e8cles. Son importance n\u2019a cess\u00e9 de cro\u00eetre devant le prolongement des \u00e9tudes, l\u2019incertitude des perspectives professionnelles. Certes l\u2019allongement de la scolarit\u00e9 a d\u00e9plac\u00e9 \u00e0 la fin du secondaire la validation des acquis scolaires de base. Mais le baccalaur\u00e9at contribue-t-il pour autant \u00e0 assurer l\u2019interface entre la sph\u00e8re scolaire que quitte l\u2019adolescent et les \u00e9tudes sup\u00e9rieures ou le monde du travail qu\u2019aborde le jeune adulte ? Face aux exigences du monde moderne, les contenus de l\u2019examen se sont diversifi\u00e9s. Les fili\u00e8res se sont multipli\u00e9es, rendant peu lisible le paysage de l\u2019orientation universitaire et professionnelle. Le baccalaur\u00e9at a connu au long de son existence de nombreuses r\u00e9formes qui ont toutes impact\u00e9 l\u2019enseignement secondaire. La plus r\u00e9cente r\u00e9forme (janvier 2019) d\u00e9cid\u00e9e au plus haut niveau de l\u2019Etat remet en cause une architecture plus que centenaire. Elle rencontre aussi une opposition forte.
